At Oasis Financial Strategies, we believe financial peace isn’t just a dream — it’s a plan.

Our Mission
Our mission is simple:
To equip and empower you with the tools, clarity, and confidence needed to win with money — for good.
We believe everyone deserves access to the knowledge and guidance necessary to achieve their financial goals and create a better quality of life. Through education, structured planning, and personalized financial coaching, we help individuals and families build a foundation of financial stability and long-term security.
We don’t just talk about numbers.
We focus on behavior.
Because lasting financial change doesn’t happen from math alone — it happens when habits, mindset, and purpose align.
Our Approach
Kevin is known for his calm, encouraging demeanor paired with firm honesty about the changes required to make real progress. Clients often describe the financial coaching experience as:
Honest and direct
Patient and non-judgmental
Compassionate and understanding
Motivating and accountability-driven
You will be supported — but also challenged.
We ask the tough questions. We help you clearly define your “why.” And we walk with you step-by-step as you build financial habits that stick. The goal isn’t temporary motivation — it’s permanent transformation.
Our Debt-Free Journey
Oasis Financial Strategies was built from personal experience.
My wife and I once found ourselves nearly $118,000 in debt — including car payments, credit cards, and a student loan. We were paying everything on time, often just the minimums. But we weren’t budgeting. We weren’t intentional.
When I finally compared our monthly income to our expenses, I realized we were spending $1,500 to $3,500 every month with nothing to show for it.
I was frustrated. Embarrassed. Humiliated.
That was the turning point.
We committed fully to a plan. We followed the debt snowball method with intensity and focus. We created a monthly budget. We changed our habits. We had hard conversations. We sacrificed.
And in 26 months, we paid off nearly $118,000 in debt — not including our mortgage.
Making that final payment brought incredible relief. And shortly after, when an unexpected expense hit, we were prepared. No panic. No new debt.
That experience solidified a core truth:
Financial freedom isn’t about income — it’s about behavior, discipline, and a plan.
And that’s why Oasis Financial Strategies exists.
About Kevin D. Muegerl
Following high school graduation, I enlisted in the United States Navy and dedicated two decades of my life to serving our country. During my service, I earned a Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
The military shaped my discipline, leadership, and commitment to serving others. Today, that same dedication fuels my work as a Master Financial Coach.
Outside of professional financial coaching, I continue to assist and advise Veterans in navigating the complexities of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs — from service-connected disability claims to accessing educational benefits and easing the transition to civilian life. Serving those who served remains deeply personal to me.
Why Oasis Financial Strategies?
Money stress can feel isolating and overwhelming — even when income looks strong on paper. I know that firsthand.
At Oasis Financial Strategies, I combine personal experience, disciplined structure, and compassionate accountability to help individuals, couples, and Veterans:
Build and stick to a monthly budget
Eliminate debt using a focused strategy
Establish fully funded emergency savings
Change the behaviors that keep them stuck
Gain clarity, confidence, and long-term financial peace
I’m soft-spoken and encouraging — but firmly honest about the changes required.
You will be supported.
You will be challenged.
You will be held accountable.
Because I’ve been there.
And if we could pay off $118,000 in 26 months, you can make incredible progress too.
You don’t have to do it alone.
